NNPC, Shell, Others Sign 1.29bscf/d Feedgas Deal With NLNG

A major boost towards strengthening Nigeria’s energy transition and economic growth, NNPC Limited, alongside leading upstream gas suppliers, signed Gas Supply Agreements (GSAs) with Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) for a daily supply of 1.29 billion standard cubic feet of Feedgas.

The agreements, signed at the NNPC Towers in Abuja, reflect Nigeria’s commitment to sustainable gas development and industrialisation.

Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Ltd., Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for providing the enabling environment and ease of doing business through the Presidential Executive Orders.

The 20-year GSAs, with extension options, involve key industry players such as Amni International, Sunlink Energies, First E&P, SNEPCo, NNPC Gas Marketing Limited, NNPC E&P Limited, Shell Nigeria Gas, Oando Group, and Aradel Holdings.

Managing Director/CEO of NLNG, Dr. Philip Mshelbila, described the agreements as a game-changer, ensuring a reliable gas supply to NLNG’s Bonny Island plant, boosting Nigeria’s global energy market presence, and supporting the nation’s industrialisation and economic aspirations.
